Met een interdisciplinaire benadering benut het de kracht van de artist- mindset voor verandering, verbeeldingskracht en innovatie. Complexe vraagstukken vragen om nieuwe perspectieven, creativiteit en andere manieren om over de toekomst na te denken – gebieden waarin kunstenaars, als getrainde out-of-the-box denkers, een waardevolle bijdrage kunnen leveren. De kunstenaar als katalysator: iemand die bevraagt, reflecteert en verbeeldt.

In de samenwerking van organisaties met kunstenaars, beweegt the liminal practice zich in de tussenruimte om partnerships en artist-in-residencies binnen organisaties te ontwerpen en begeleiden. Daarbij wordt gebruikgemaakt van een breed netwerk aan adviseurs om, zonder vastgelegde uitkomst, maar wel doelgericht, tot een passende aanpak te komen.

In advocating collaborations between organisations and artists, the liminal practice moves in the in-between spaces, searching for a form that fits the challenge with a focus on artist-in-residencies.. Drawing on a wide network advisors, the outcomes are not predetermined, but remain purpose-driven in creating an approach together.
